On the 16th and 17th January 2007 Denny Pattyn visited the UK to spend time with the British Silver Ring Thing Team.

It was a fantastic time to get to know the founder and President of the Silver Ring Thing and to understand even more of his vision for young people and his desire to see a culture change.

During his time with us we visited Premier Radio where Denny was interviewed by John Pantry and took calls and emails from the programmes listeners.

The program was really well received and there were many calls to the show. Silver Ring Thing then received many calls and emails from people who heard the show and wanted to either go on a SRT434 course, or run the course at their church.

To make the whole event even more exciting, if that were possible, we had a TV crew with us who are making a show on the emerging sub culture of abstinence within the UK and how that is becoming cool !

The production company are making the film on behalf of channel 4 and both Silver Ring Thing students and team members have taken part. You can see all the pictures from on the Photo Gallery.

The programme, although not exclusively about Silver Ring Thing will be aired in the Summer of 2007.
